Love Letters of Joseph and Emma

Enlightening and heartwarming, Love Letters of Joseph and Emma explores Joseph and Emma Smith’s close and loving partnership through the lens of their personal correspondence to each other. Paired with stunning illustrations by renowned artist Liz Lemon Swindle, this engaging history provides insight into the lives and glimpses into the hearts of the founder of the LDS Church and his “elect lady.” - About the Author - Angela Eschler has always wanted to write the great American novel. So far she has written many composition papers on other people’s great American novels, or has edited those novels. But, as she believes in not giving up, she is writing what she can as practice. She loves her day job as an editor, loves reading—obviously—and loves her family and dog. - About the Artist - Liz Lemon Swindle has a deep, abiding faith that she feels blessed to share through her art. A lifelong Utah resident, she studied fine arts at Utah State University. By the early 1990s she had devoted herself to the topic closest to her heart: her faith. A one-woman show of her Christian art traveled to cities nationwide in the summer of 1997 and a book of her paintings, She Shall Bring Forth a Son, was published in 1998.
